The Minnesota Sports/Ski Council spent a three-day ski weekend at Giants Ridge Lodge and ski resort. The participants were from five ski clubs in the Minnesota area. The accommodations were wonderful and the staff was exceedingly professional and helpful in every way. Food was plentiful, hot, and appetizing. We got rave reviews from the club participants and they are hoping we return. The skiing was great, and the runs were groomed to perfection when we arrived on Friday. We would absolutely suggest Giant’s Ridge to spend quality time as a couple, family, or large group!

On a recent trip through northern Minnesota, we were very pleasantly surprised by the beautiful and high quality lodgings we found at The Lodge at Giants Ridge. We had not been there before, but definitely plan to come again.

We recently hosted a workshop at Giants Ridge, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Giants Ridge was a wonderful conference venue. The rooms are spacious, the group rates are reasonable, and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. The staff was very accommodating and made meeting planning nice and straightforward.

We stayed the weekend and had a great time. Super friendly, good accommodations. Golf courses are stunning. Two couples rented 2 bedroom condo. Decent space and amenities good but rooms didn’t have windows, so a little hot at night. Learned on way out that property is under new management, so older bad online reviews reflect former property management. We recommend to stay here and will be back ourselves!

I stayed here on a business trip and to attend a 2-day training. This is a wonderful hotel. The suites are large and well appointed. They are very clean and comfortable. The food is excellent. Most importantly, the staff members are terrific. They allowed extra-time for check-out, asked if our room was sufficient, and responding quickly to requests. The staff, like the facility, are warm and welcoming. I wish I could have stayed longer.

We stayed overnight Wednesday. Since we had the following day off from work we decided to head “up north” to Duluth from Minneapolis. The Priceline website listed this hotel as one in the Duluth area (Biwabik is on the Iron Range, about 50 miles away or so). We have never stayed in a hotel accommodation quite like this one. It had very high ceilings (for the giants maybe?), very tastefully decorated in cabin/lodge style. There was a jetted hot tub and shower, kitchenette with glasses, plates, silverware, etc., a super comfortable leather couch in front of the TV, and a separate bedroom with gas fireplace. We slept well on the very comfortable bed. It was fun to go there in the off season. It was late for golf and the snow had not come or been made yet. This place must be a blast during high season.
