Fall Colors: What you need to know
Northern Minnesota is one of the best places to watch the leaves change and hear the familiar sounds of leaves crunching. You’re guaranteed to see amazing colors and capture some breathtaking pictures. But when is the best time to go? It depends on what colors you want to see! According to the Minnesota DNR, leaves peak on the North Shore and in the Northern part of Minnesota in mid-September to early October. Typically yellow and orange leaves will appear early fall while reds and darker colors will appear later.
